Liberty is currently 28-6 overall and 13-5 in CUSA. This puts the Flames atop the conference standings, having earned the regular season title and No. 1 seed in this past week’s CUSA Tournament. The Flames sweep both the regular season and tournament titles in the 9th best conference in the league. Not a bad season at all.
Now Liberty heads to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021 and for the 7th time in school history. With a strong non-conference season, the Flames have put themselves in good position in terms of Bracketology and where Liberty could be seeded.
