Defensive Line
DE 99 Cory Freeman (Sr., 6-4, 265)
91 Dylan Bowman (R-So., 6-3, 245)
– or – 93 Gerald Holt (R-Fr., 6-3, 275)
DT 46 Francis Bah (Sr., 6-3, 295)
92 Nolan Spicer (So., 6-3, 260)
NG 97 Jibrille Fewell (Sr., 6-0, 300)
98 Roger Bryan (Fr., 6-1, 270)
RE 90 Dominique Davis (Jr., 6-5, 250)
52 Chima Uzowihe (So., 6-2, 240)
The 3 Seniors (Freeman, Bah & Fewell) will anchor what should be a very solid defensive line. Look for all 3 to have monster years.
The battle at RE is the one to watch in the Fall. Dominique Davis, who was named most improved player on defense in the Spring, will head into camp #1 on the depth chart. Chima Uzowihe broke onto the scene as a true freshman in 2012 in a big way as he recorded 4 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks, and 2 quarterback hurries.
Depth on the defensive line should be enhanced from incoming freshmen Spencer Cook, Ja’Ron Greene, Leo Hunt, Jesse Karnezis, and Marc Wilson. Cook, Greene and Wilson all hail from Texas.
