BC 19 Walt Aikens (Sr., 6-1, 200)
28 Sorie Bayoh (Sr., 5-7, 175)
S 43 Aaron Dial (Sr., 5-11, 195)
29 Miles Hunter (So., 5-10, 195)
FS 27 Jacob Hagen (Jr., 6-3, 205)
37 Charles Williams (R-Fr., 6-0, 190)
FC 3 Kevin Fogg (R-Sr., 5-10, 190)
14 Kenny Scott (Jr., 5-10, 175)
It’s great to have Kevin Fogg back. Sure, he made his name as a returner, but what many failed to realize last season was just how good of a corner he has developed into. During the 4 games of the season in 2012 he played, he registered 18 tackles, 13 of them solo. He also had 2 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble. Many scouting reports tried to get Fogg on an island thinking the 5’10” 190lb corner was too small to bring down a receiver or back on his own. He proved them wrong.
Bayoh and Scott got valuable playing experience at the end of last year and will provide terrific depth at corner. Scott is actually the 4th leading tackler to return from the 2012 season with notable names ahead of him – Hyland, Sigmon, and Aikens.
Jacob Hagen developed into a solid safety in his first season of significant playing time last year. The rest of the safeties are inexperienced.
