Zach Rice is a Class of 2022 offensive tackle that attends Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, Virginia. The local high school’s campus is located directly adjacent to Liberty’s.
Rice is a consensus 5-star rated prospect and rated by 247Sports as the top offensive tackle in the class of 2022. 247Sports also rates him as the top prospect in Virginia and the #11 rated prospect nationally. Rivals also rates the 6’6″, 305 pound Rice as the top prospect in the class of 2022 in Virginia, as well as the 3rd best offensive tackle and 11th best prospect nationally.
The 11th grader has a list from nearly every major program in the country, including Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, as well as several other Power Five offers. Liberty is the only non Power Five school to offer Rice.
