The transfer portal for men’s basketball remains open until April 22. As the roster is currently constructed, Liberty has four open roster spots for next season’s team following the departure of five players, most recently with the addition of Owen Aquino’s name into the portal. That is assuming that Taelon Peter and Jayvon Maughmer do not return, which is not a guarantee as they could look to the NCAA for an additional year of eligibility. If they do return, Liberty would have just two roster spots available to add to next year’s team. It is most likely that any additions would come from the portal at this point.
