Former Liberty guard Caleb Homesley is currently playing in the G League for the Erie BayHawks after being signed and then released by the Washington Wizards. Homesley and the BayHawks began play in the bubble in Orlando by playing in 4 games over the past week. Erie is 3-1 through the first four games.

The 6’6″ Homesley is currently averaging 20.7 minutes per game, 7 points per game, 2.0 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game. He is shooting 33.3% from the field and 29.4% from three-point range. Homesley started the first three games for Erie before coming off the bench in the team’s fourth game Monday night.

In the season opener and Caleb’s professional debut, he played a team high 32 points and scored 11 points to go along with 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. Homesley shot 4 of 14 from the field and 2 of 8 from three-point range. He also had a highlight reel dunk in transition.

In his second game, Homesley had 2 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist in 16 minutes. He was 0 for 4 from the field and 0 for 3 from three point range. On Saturday, Homesley played 22 minutes, scoring 8 points on 3 of 7 shooting and 2 of 5 from three to go along with 1 rebound and 1 assist.

Coming off the bench for the first time Monday night, Homesley scored 7 points in 11 minutes while shooting 3 of 5 from the field and 1 for 1 from three point range. He also added 2 rebounds and 1 assist.

Homesley and the BayHawks are back in action Wednesday, February 17 at 3 PM in a game that will be televised on ESPNU. Erie also has games this week Thursday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday.
