Arkansas State Athletic Director Terry Mohajir was recently interviewed and had some interesting comments on Liberty and the Sun Belt. You can listen to his interview which begins at the 4:10 mark of part 4. Some of his comments: “(Liberty’s) not a rumor. Jerry Falwell Jr, his son, and the Provost flew and met with (us). Liberty is more than what people think. Their online revenues is about $240 million per year. Their budget is about $40 million which is more than double ours. They have done a lot to strengthen their program. I like their vision.”

Jim Toman and the baseball team picked up a pair of commitments for the 2015 class recently. Sam Urban is a 5’10”, 160 pound outfielder from Purcellville, Virginia where he attended Loudoun Valley High School.

His high school teammate Jack DeGroat has also committed to the Flames. DeGroat is a 6’0″, 165 pound right-handed pitcher. Loudoun Valley won the state championship for the first time since 1971, with the championship game being played at Liberty. You can read more about the pair and their commitment here.
