Liberty is currently in the midst of a very important week in the race for the ASUN East Division Championship. The Flames entered Tuesday in a three-way tie for first place with Jacksonville and Kennesaw State at 3-0 with matchups scheduled against the Dolphins and the Owls this week.

On Tuesday, the Flames dispatched Jacksonville, 88-49. Now, Liberty heads to Kennesaw, Georgia to take on KSU for a Thursday showdown. The Flames are hoping to keep alive its streak of three straight ASUN regular season and tournament titles this season and advance to another NCAA Tournament.

Liberty is currently 13-6 on the season and has won five straight since leaving Hawaii and the Diamond Head Classic. The Flames will look to continue its win streak on Thursday night at Kennesaw State with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. and streamed on ESPN+. Liberty will conclude the busy week’s slate on Saturday, Jan. 22 at Central Arkansas.
