Liberty knocked off Bellarmine in the ASUN Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday evening. The Flames get back on the court Thursday in the Semifinals against 3-seed Eastern Kentucky. The other ASUN Semi has 1-seed Kennesaw State taking on 5-seed Lipscomb. The Flames, picked as the preseason favorite to win the ASUN for a fourth time in five years, finished the regular season as co-champions with Kennesaw State.
As the Owls are the 1-seed and have home court advantage throughout the tournament this week, many pundits are projecting them as the ASUN representative in the NCAA Tournament.
