Liberty is coming off two straight losses on their trip to Jacksonville this past week, falling to the Jacksonville Dolphins and the North Florida Ospreys. The Flames will look to get back on track Saturday night against Stetson from a sold out Liberty Arena.
Saturday marks the beginning of the final week of regular season play for the Flames as Liberty will play four games in eight days. After the home date with the Hatters Saturday, Liberty will hit the road for its final road game of the regular season, facing Central Arkansas. The Flames will close out the regular season with a two-game homestand against FGCU on Wednesday and Kennesaw State on Saturday, Feb. 26 for senior day.
The Flames are currently 18-9 on the season and are 9-3 in ASUN play. Ritchie McKay’s Flames are coming off a 23-6 season last year and 11-2 mark in conference play that saw Liberty earn a 13-seed in the NCAA Tournament before losing to No. 4 seed Oklahoma State in the first round.
Liberty has a very challenging two-game road swing this weekend, beginning Saturday evening at Jacksonville. The Flames will then play at North Florida on Tuesday. Here’s a roundup of where the Flames are being projected currently in the NCAA Tournament by several outlets:

- Watch Stadium has Liberty back in the bracket as a 14-seed and facing 3-seed Villanova in Buffalo.
- On3Sports has Liberty as a 14-seed.
- Bracketville had the Flames as a 14-seed and facing 3-seed Texas Tech in Milwaukee before updating it on Friday morning and replacing Liberty with Jacksonville State as a 15-seed.
- BracketMatrix.com currently has the Flames as a 14-seed while being projected into the field by 112 of the 115 bracket projections ranging from an 13 to a 16 seed with an average of 14.24.
