As we reported last week, Lucas Holder has picked up an offer from Liberty. He currently holds offers from Columbia and the Flames. This past weekend he was on his official visit at Liberty, and he recently announced he will be making his announcement soon:

Regardless of when he makes his decision, here are a few reasons why we believe it will be Liberty that he commits to:
- He has been holding his offer from Columbia for a while now, and is just recently begun tweeting about making a decision. This leads one to believe that something has changed recently.
- What has changed recently? Well, he picked up an offer from Liberty for one.
- He also visited campus just this weekend.
- If you read his timeline on his twitter account, you see he has been communicating with Liberty players recently. He also retweeted the fact that Nick Newman has committed to Liberty.
- Holder played Center in high school; a position the Flames are in desperate need of. All 2012 Centers on the roster, are no longer on the team. It’s very unlikely that a true freshman offensive lineman will come in and play, much less start, but it is a possibility.
Let’s just say that we will be shocked if his commitment, whenever it comes, is NOT Liberty.
