Liberty quarterback Josh Woodrum has been invited to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, he told the Roanoke Times. Woodrum will be one of more than 300 prospects that will showcase their abilities in front of top executives, coaching staffs, player personnel departments and medical personnel from all 32 NFL teams.
The NFL Scouting Combine will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 23-29. He is currently in California preparing for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl which will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday in Carson, California. The game will be televised by ESPN2.
Woodrum is Liberty’s career record holder in passing yards (10,266), completions (833), attempts (1,304) and total offense (10,690 yards). He hopes to be the first ever quarterback and 8th player to be selected in the NFL draft from Liberty.
