Liberty picked up its 5th commitment in the class of 2018 and 2nd wide receiver commit on Wednesday when JT Wood pledged to the Flames.
Wood is a 6’2″, 205 pound prospect from Creekside High School and St. Johns, Florida. He’s a 2 star rated prospect according to Rivals and also has offers from South Alabama, Troy, and Western Illinois. Wood commits just days after visiting Liberty for a prospect camp. He also visited Western Illinois recently. As a junior, he had 40 catches for 560 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Wood joins previous commitments WR Sean Queen, TE Mason Yost, DL Emmanuel Cater, and DB Marcellous Harris.
